We’re looking for a developer to join our Product Platform area and help build the platform behind Aller Media’s news sites. Ship fast, server-rendered experiences with great performance, clean HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.

This role suits someone who likes simple, durable technology choices, enjoys solving hard problems close to the fundamentals, and wants their work to be felt by millions of readers.

What you’ll work on

Your work will span the full stack, including:

• Building and evolving server-rendered experiences in Node.js/Express

• Working with HTTP, caching strategies, and CDN/edge capabilities (e.g., edge workers)

• Writing semantic HTML and modern, framework-independent CSS

• Implementing interactive features with functional, framework-free JavaScript

• Optimizing client-side performance (Core Web Vitals, loading strategies, rendering cost)

• Ensuring accessibility and inclusive design in everyday development

• Experience from display advertising, video, or media environments is a plus, but not required.

Where will you be located?

Your office location is either Stockholm, Oslo, or Copenhagen.

Regardless of office affiliation, occasional travel will be required to collaborate with people across Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. The team has an office-first policy with flexibility.
